Curtis D. Risser

Curtis D. Risser TREMONT Curtis D. Risser, 60, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Tremont Nursing Home. Born in Lebanon, on May 31, 1953, he was the son of Clarence M. Risser of Annville, and the late Anna Mary Stover Risser. He had worked as a laborer at Henry Moldings and at Indiantown Gap in food service. Curtis had attended Victory Christian Fellowship in Palmyra. He enjoyed traveling to the family's cabin in Franklin County, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, chopping wood, working outdoors, swimming, and tubing down the river. He also enjoyed wrestling, bowling, painting water colors, water balloons, and Easter eggs. Surviving, in addition to his father, are sisters, Lois, wife of Gary Hammer of Lebanon, and Bonnie L. Risser of Palmyra; a brother, Luke E. Risser of Palmyra; two nieces, Rebecca Hammer of Lebanon, and Lonna, wife of Kenneth Michael of Myerstown; two great-nieces, McKenna Michael and Kaley Michael; and a great-nephew, Bradyn Michael. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Victory Christian Fellowship, 695 E. Ridge Road, Palmyra. Inurnment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to Palmyra High School, c/o "Life Skills", 1125 Park Drive, Palmyra; or to his church.
