Donald R. Hershour

Donald R. Hershour LEBANON Donald R. Hershour, 83, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Elmcroft in Lebanon. He was the husband of Dorothy M. Martin Hershour for 38 years. Born in Little Britain Twp., Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Elsie H. Slicer. Donald was a WWII veteran, serving his country in the Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard. He was a member of the Deputy Sheriff's Association of PA and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He worked in security and as a truck driver at Olmstead Air Force Base, as a Lebanon County Deputy Sheriff and in the Prothonatary's office at the Lebanon County Courthouse. He was an avid watcher of the New York Yankees, Phillies, and Penn State games. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Michael R. Hershour and wife, Jennie of Etters; two granddaughters, Katie McMahon of Bloomsburg and Martha Hershour of Etters; and two nieces, Joan Kotay and husband, Greg of Lebanon, and Judy Swope of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald R. Hershour. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Viewing will be held from 1 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
