Helen L. Moyer LEBANON Helen L. Moyer, 76, went home to heaven on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lancaster County on September 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Geneva Sellmeyer Landis. She was a 1955 graduate of Jonestown High School. Helen was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed her cats and especially enjoyed entertaining and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Steven C. husband of Tammy Moyer of Jonestown, Michael L. Moyer of Lebanon, and Carl E. husband of Chris Moyer of Annville; daughters, Karen wife of Jim Speck of Ono, Darlene wife of Stu Gamble of Sarasota, Fla., and Jane wife of Joe Krick of S. Annville Twp.; sisters, Shirley Glick of Lebanon, Judy Umbenhauer of Lebanon, Clara Lee Bell of Lake Wales, Fla., Gail Brightbill of Bradenton, Fla., Louise Allen of Sun City, Ariz., and Dawn Logan of Palm Bay, Fla.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; the father of her children, Charles Moyer of S. Annville Twp., and her dear friend and neighbor, Carl Heagy of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Landis of Bradenton, Fla.; an infant sister of Lancaster County; and her companion of many years, Paul E. Kline. Memorial services will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. No viewing, but a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private family committal will be held at a later date. Still trying to process the last 4 months of my moms illness...thank you to all my friends and church family for helping me through this very hard time....i am overwhelmed by all the support..visits..cards..phone calls.......i will surely see my mom again in heaven...I love You

Thank you to everyone who could share in the memorial service for my Mother and to all those who have been praying and sending their love and support to our family. We will miss her and will cherish our happy memories until the day we see her again in heaven. My mother would have been touched deeply to see the kindness and caring of so many who have reached out to us - thank you.

I have many happy memories of times spent at the Moyer house growing up. Aunt Helen spoke to me as if I had value, even as a child, and I value the relationship we had. With sadness, but looking forward to talking with her again when all of us are reunited in our spiritual family.

To my sister Helen's Family, Your Mother was Special in many ways, willing to help out where she could and enjoyed it. Loved you and your children. I will miss her very much but knowing she is in a Far Better Place gives me comfort.
