Helen M. DeHart LEBANON Helen M. DeHart, 78, formerly of Myerstown, died Friday, June 20, 2014, at Manor Care Health Services, Lebanon, following a lengthy illness. Born in Fredericksburg, on February 18, 1936, she was a daughter of the late James and Lillian (Burkhart) Grumbine. A 1954 graduate of Fredericksburg High School, she was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown. She was employed as a packer at Mahaffey's Food Products, Myerstown, for many years. Prior to Mahaffey's she worked at Crescent Plastics, Myerstown. She volunteered at E.C.C. Retirement Village, Myerstown, for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, walking, and doing puzzles. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda L. DeHart of Myerstown; a son, Chris R., husband of Sherry DeHart of Coopersburg; grandchildren, Micah, Casey, Lauren, Caleb, and Shania Mae; five step grandchildren; a sister, Marion, wife of Jackson Stehr of Rehrersburg; a brother, Russell, husband of Barbara Grumbine of Wyomissing; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana DeHart, in 2007; a sister, Verna Raihl; and brothers, Warren, Stanley, and Allen Grumbine. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 10 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W.
