Joan M. Wagner JONESTOWN Joan M. Wagner, 61, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, surrounded by her loving family and friends, at the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Russel L. Wagner, Jr., and in October, they celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. Born in Reading, on August 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Mary K. Reed Ditzler. She worked as a nurse for 40 years and 33 of those years were at GSH, where she retired in 2012. She was a member of the Fort Indiantown Gap Conservation Club. Joan enjoyed gardening, her flowers, hunting and fishing with her husband and especially spending time with her family and her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Ryan L. husband of Shanna Wagner of Jonestown; her daughter, Laura L. Wagner-Miller and her husband, Alan of Annville; grandchildren Mason and Cooper Miller; and her aunt, Martha "Mot" Palkon of Fleetwood. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. There will be no viewing, but a visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. until the start of the funeral. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the GSH-Hospice, 203 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042.
