Mildred B. Long

Mildred B. Long PALMYRA Mildred B. (Krum) Long, 92, of 600 W. Pajabon Drive, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Lester H. Long, who died in 1988. Born in North Annville Twp., on February 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Henry F. and Emma Yordy Krum. She was retired from the H.B. Reese Candy Company, Hershey, where she worked on the peanut butter cup line. Mildred was a member of the Bellegrove United Methodist Church, the Jonestown Senior Citizens, and a life member of the Bellegrove Fire Company Auxiliary. She enjoyed puzzles, snowmobiling, camping, traveling, attending Blue Grass Concerts at the Bunker Hill Fellowship Hall, and spending time with her family. She was a favorite aunt to many of her nieces and nephews. Surviving are a daughter, Carol L. Edris, with whom she lived; a granddaughter, Angie E., wife of Jason L. Kinney of Jonestown; a sister, Ruth E. Long of Hershey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mahlon Y. Krum, and a sister Kathryn E. Moyer. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Bellegrove United Methodist Church, 1530 North Route 934, Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be in North Bellegrove Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, and on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her church; or the Bellegrove Fire Company, 1743 Blacks Bridge Road, Annville, PA 17003 in her memory.
