Frederick S. Beamesderfer Jr.

MYERSTOWN Frederick S. Beamesderfer, Jr., 57, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at his residence. He was the husband of Sylvia A. (Miller) Beamesderfer, to whom he was married 37 years on May 11, 2011. Born in Ephrata, on December 16, 1953, he was the son of the late Frederick S., Sr. and Beatrice V. (Keppley) Beamesderfer. He was employed at Stock Building Supply, formerly Loose Lumber Yard, Myerstown, for 40 years. He also worked at Myerstown Beverage. He enjoyed hunting and reading. An avid Hershey Bears fan, he had been a season ticket holder for many years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Eric, husband of Jessica Beamesderfer of Lemoyne, and Craig Beamesderfer of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Grayson and Eliza Beamesderfer, both of Lemoyne; sisters, Joanne, wife of Jack Hill of Myerstown, and Janice Beamesderfer of Schaefferstown; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 22, 2011, at 2 p.m. from Myerstown Church of the Brethren. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Bunker Hill E.C.C. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Building Fund" of Myerstown Church of the Brethren, 51 W. Stoever Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067.
