Beatrice Scheib Obituary

ANNVILLE Beatrice A. Scheib, 96, of 29 Kindred Place, formerly of Cleona, died Saturday, September 24, 2011, in the Lebanon Valley Home. She was the wife of Ivan E. Scheib, who died in 1979. Born in Valley View, on May 3, 1915, she was the daughter of the late William and Sarah Shibe Wagner. She was the Census taker in Cleona for many years. Beatrice was a graduate of Higgins High School. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Cleona, where she participated in the choir, the Pollyanna Sunday School Class, and was the head of the Kitchen Committee. She was a member and secretary for the Cleona Senior Citizens, served on the kitchen committee of the Cleona Fire Company, was a volunteer for the Free Noon Meals Program, enjoyed doing word puzzle books, and was an avid Phillies Fan. Surviving are two daughters, Carole, wife of Lee Phillips of Palmyra, and Bonita, wife of Glenn Hill of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Jodi Phillips, Rebecca Nace, Jessica Tulli, and Eric Hill; and three great-grandchildren, Emilyn Nace, Zachary Nace, and Samantha Tulli. She was the last of 13 children. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Contributions may be made to Immanuel United Methodist Church, N.
