Archie R. Battistelli, Jr. ANNVILLE Archie R. Battistelli, Jr., 68, died Wednesday June 12, 2013, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Patricia J. Spangler Battistelli to whom he was married 33 years. Born in Latrobe, on June 11, 1945, he was the son of the late Archie and Mary Gasperini Battistelli. He was currently a Sr. Vice-President at Stifel Nicolaus, Lebanon. His former employment included Regional Vice-President of Dauphin Deposit Bank and Vice-President of the former Hershey Bank. Archie was a 1963 graduate of Lebanon High School and attended banking school at Bucknell University and the University of Delaware. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Lebanon, past president and chairman of the golf committee of the Lebanon Kiwanis Club, Board of the Lebanon Valley Economic Development Corp., Visiting Nurses Association Board of Directors, Lebanon Library Board, and former Chairman of the Board of the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce. He was also a past recipient of the George F. Hixson Award for his service to the Kiwanis Club of Lebanon. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Lisa M. Battistelli and Kristin L. Forker; two sons, William P. Forker, IV and wife, Mary Michelle Rogers Forker, and Michael D. Battistelli and wife, Julie Hetrick Battistelli; grandchildren, Ella, Alicia, Marissa, and Maria Battistelli, and Erin and Alison Forker; two brothers, Donald Battistelli and wife, Louise Brossman Battistelli, and Kenneth Battistelli and wife, Bonita Reese Battistelli; two nephews, Kenneth Battistelli and Christopher Battistelli; and a niece, Gina Battistelli Barb, who was also his goddaughter. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Todd Battistelli. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville.
