Beatrice A. Benninghoff LEBANON Beatrice A. Benninghoff, 101, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013, at Cedar Haven Nursing Home in Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Herbert J. Benninghoff. Born in Lebanon, on July 23, 1911, Beatrice was a daughter of the late Stephen and Cora (Steckbeck) Allwein. Prior to retiring, Beatrice worked as a secretary for the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review in Harrisburg for more than 50 years. She had been a member of the Knights of Columbus Social Club, the Verbena Club, Cedar Haven Auxiliary, Retired Steelworkers, PA Retired State Employees, and the PCBL. She was a member of Church of St. Cecilia in Lebanon. She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth McDonnell; four nieces and nephews, Joseph McDonnell and his wife, Judy, Jean Budge and her husband, Thomas, Michael McDonnell and his wife, Linda, and Patricia Schultz and her husband, Howard; and several great-and great-great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Cecilia, 202 E. Lehman St., Lebanon. Visitation Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
