Christ J. Tulos Sr. Obituary
Christ J. Tulos, Sr. LEBANON Christ J. Tulos, Sr., 90, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the Lebanon Veterans Administration Hospice Center. He has joined his wife of 64 years, Priscilla E. Wile- Tulos, who passed away April 23, 2012. He was a decorated army veteran who served in WWII and worked at Olmstead Aircraft Depot, Middletown, until the plant closed. Throughout his life, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, getting together with family and friends, and working on and fixing cars. He was an avid race car fan, football fan, and a fan of the 'Survivor' TV show. He always caught everyone off guard with his comic sense of humor. Christ was a lifetime member of the VFW and a long time member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Lebanon. He is survived by four children, Stella M. Watkins, Lena J. Grodensky, Jean M. Nuttall, and Christ J. Tulos, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Mindi M. Phelps, Matthew J. Tulos, Teri M. Birch, James E. Tulos, Justin P. Grodensky, Kyale A. Tulos, and Katrina J. Tulos; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler J. Tulos, Clayton T. Phelps, and Caden J. Birch. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. A funeral service will be held in Christ Presbyterian Church, 1300 Maple St., Lebanon, on Friday, October 26, 2012, at 1 p.m. with his pastor, the Rev. John Barlow, officiating. A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery, Annville, with the Richland American Legion presenting the honors. Contributions may be made in Christ's memory to the Lebanon Veteran Medical Center, Attention Hospice 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042. The Rohland Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements. Our sincere gratitude to the Lebanon VA Medical Center doctors, nurses, staff, and volunteers for their care, comfort, and respect shown to our father, Christ J. Tulos, Sr. throughout his illness.
