Elwood K. Heisey PALMYRA Elwood K. Heisey, 81, died on May 5, 2013, at Lebanon Valley Brethren Home in Palmyra. He was married for 55 years to Nancy L. Heisey, who died in 2008. He was born on April 20, 1932, the son of the late Raymond and Miriam Heisey. He was a graduate of Hershey High School, Class of 1949 and then served his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Armored Division fighting in the Korean War. Upon his return home, he worked as a carpenter before beginning his long career as a truck driver for Kuntz and Son, Inc. of South Hanover Township, PA, where he hauled milk that was supplied to the Hershey Chocolate Company as well as other area dairy producers. For more than 46 years, he worked for Kuntz and Son before retiring in 2001. Surviving him are his sister, Connie Stauffer of Lititz and his foster sister, Jean Seiple who resides in Hershey with her husband Larry. He is also survived by numerous cousins and several nieces and nephews of his deceased brother Raymond Heisey, Jr. of Hershey. He is also survived by his son, Chris, along with his wife, Kim, and grandson, Aaron, of Mechanicsburg. Elwood was an avid baseball aficionado and a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. A memorial service welcome to all will be held on May 9 at 6 p.m. followed by visitation at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be private at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
