Evelyn Soliday LEBANON Evelyn Soliday, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, November 16, 2012. Evelyn, known to many as "Evie," was born in Green Point, Northern Lebanon County, in 1944. Evie graduated from Northern Lebanon High School in 1962. Shortly after, she married the love of her life, Richard Soliday. Evie was the foundation of our family and possessed a joie de vivre that permeated all moments as she relished life's simple pleasures: her grandchildren, golf at her home in Myrtle Beach, S.C., or a drive in her red Thunderbird. Evie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April 2012. Evie and Richard celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October, just six months after her diagnosis. Evie had a professional banking career for more than 28 years, retiring from Fulton Bank as a manager and Assistant Vice President. During this time she served as an ambassador to local organizations such as the Lebanon Rescue Mission, Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, and The Community of Lebanon Association. Evie is survived by her husband, Richard; her daughter, Dawn (Soliday) Zimmerman, husband, Jeff Zimmerman, and grandchildren, Noah and Noelle; and daughter, Nicole Soliday and grandchildren, Nicola and Cian. She is also survived by a sister, Patricia (Engle) Rutter of Jonestown. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at 1 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
