Harold G. Donough PALMYRA Harold G. Donough, 87, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015, in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. Born April 27, 1927, in Palmyra, he was the son of the late Henry and Carrie (Groy) Donough and was also preceded in death by children, Linda Eshleman and twins Darlene and Luke. A self-employed barber in Palmyra for 48 years and U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was a member of Rocherty United Methodist Church, Lebanon, the Hershey DAV #48 and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 14-03 for over 20 years. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Elsie M. (Walters) Donough; children, Birdina Taliaferro of Missouri, Dale Donough of New Cumberland, Jay Donough of Campbelltown, Carl Donough of Hummelstown, James Donough of Kansas and Patricia Koestner of Elizabethtown; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Rocherty United Methodist Church, 255 Village Drive, Lebanon. Viewing 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his church, 255 Village Drive, Lebanon, PA 17042. Condolences may be shared at BuseFuneralHome.com

Dear Family, It is with great sadness and pain to hear of the passing of Harold. I will always remember his humor and laugh. The way he used to drive down the middle of the road, until another vehicle came. Munching on garlic cloves like candy. To name a few.
