Jean H. Tefft

Jean H. Tefft PALMYRA Jean H. Tefft, 82, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at her home. Born December 31, 1926, in Hershey, she was the daughter of the late E. Mark and Martha (Painter) Hitz. She retired as a teller from Wachovia Bank, attended the Campbelltown United Christian Church, was a member of Farm Women, the Campbelltown Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary and was a trustee for the fire company. She was a great mother and the widow of Luther E. 'Bud' Tefft who died June 10, 1997. Surviving are her daughters, Jean Daywalt of Blue Ridge Summit, Shirley Marks of Annville, Robin Whisler of Vineland, N.J., and LuAnn Miller of Lady Lake, Fla.; seven grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra, preceded by a viewing from 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Campbelltown United Christian Cemetery.
