Jean M. Boyer CORNWALL Jean M. Boyer, 86, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Charles P. Boyer with whom she was married to for 61 years. Born in Schubert, Berks County, on October 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William and Ida Kline Stein. Jean was a lifelong machine operator in the garment industry. She retired from Keystone Kniteware. She worshipped at St. Paul's UCC in Schaefferstown and was a life member of both Cornwall Manor Society and VFW Post 6076 Ladies Auxiliary. Jean enjoyed gardening, bird watching and shell collecting on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Surviving in addition to her husband are two children, Cynthia Baxter Golden of Wernersville, Rodney Boyer husband of Penny Boyer of Myerstown; grandson, Ryan Baxter; step granddaughter, Jamie Arnold; two great-grandsons, Elliot and Collin Baxter; two step great-grandsons, Adam and Jason Arnold; brother, Lee Stein; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mae Davis, Pearl Coppage and Helen Daniels; brother, Robert Stein. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Levi Zerr Chapel at Cornwall Manor, Cornwall. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
