Kathleen A. Powell ANNVILLE Kathleen A. "Pete" Powell, 75, died Tuesday October 9, 2012, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of John J. Powell, who died in 2006 with whom she would have celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary this past Monday October 8th. Born in Annville on February 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Mildred Streicher Tobias. She was employed by the Annville Township Police Department for 27 years as a Crossing Guard and also worked at Sunoco Gas Station, Annville for over 25 years. "Pete" was a 1954 graduate of Annville High School, a Rusty Wallace NASCAR and Rocky Horror fan and enjoyed crocheting and her computer. She made everyone feel like family and was a special friend to all. She loved being around family, especially going to her grandchildren's sporting events. "Pete" also was very fond of her two cats, JJ and Morty. Surviving is a son, Leslie J. husband of Beth Powell of Cleona; four daughters, Kimberly D. wife of Stephen Saksek of Palmyra, Kathi D. wife of Charles Page of Annville, Kelli D. Powell and Fiance Allan Farmer of Annville, and Korina D. wife of Christopher Harter of Annville; and five grandchildren, Cody Page, Alysha Page, Peyton Powell, Rogan Harter, and Cael Harter. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Four Diamonds Fund, Office of University Development, P.O.
