Lee J. Bicksler FREDERICKSBURG Lee J. Bicksler, 79, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2009, at his home. He was the husband of Ruth A. Keppley Bicksler. Born in Jackson Twp., on August 20, 1930, he was the son of the late Russell and Kathryn Valentine Bicksler. For 41 years he had worked as a truck driver for College Hill Poultry in Fredericksburg. He was currently employed by the Farmer's Wife Restaurant. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Hamlin, and the Fredericksburg Fire Co. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Gerald R. Bicksler, Larry G. Bicksler, and Terry J. Bicksler (Janice), all of Fredericksburg; daughters, Bonnie L. Bicksler of Jonestown, and Kathy B. Stouffer (Carl) of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Kenneth Bicksler (Betty) of Strausstown, Ray Bicksler (Barbara) of Bethel, and John Bicksler (Darlene) of Richland; sisters, Gloria Boyer (Richard) of Palmyra and Sophie Light (Richard) of Fredericksburg; six grandchildren, Jamie Ammon, Terry, Lacy, Lindsey, Brett, and Brian Bicksler; and six greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald, and a sister, Shirley Edris. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and prior to the service. Interment will be at the Hamlin Cemetery.
