Michael F. Renik PALMYRA Michael F. "Bubba" Renik, 56, formerly of Myerstown, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, September 29, 2012, with his loving wife, Jami, by his side. He was the husband of Jami (Stepler) Renik, to whom he was married 9 years on May 3, 2012. Born in Lebanon on February 18, 1956, he was the son of the late Frank P. and Marilyn M. (Marshall) Renik. He served in the U.S. Army, enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his work, children and dog, Harley. He was employed as a lead mechanic at McCarthy Tire and Automotive Centers, Landisville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Renik of California; a son, Corey Renik of Arizona; a sister, Mary Anne wife of Charles Morris of Conestoga; brothers, George Brightbill of Palm Springs, Calif., Lester husband of Linda Brightbill of Myerstown, Joel Renik partner of Vincent Parlegreco of Annapolis, Md.; a grandson, Dominic Renik; several nieces and nephews. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Dr., Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Michael's family would like to thank Harvey, Pat, Rin and the rest of his friends as well as Compassionate Care Hospice for their love, care and support during Mike's illness.
