Timothy P. Ziegler MYERSTOWN Timothy "Tim" P. Ziegler, 32, was killed tragically in a trucking accident on Monday, December 30, 2013, in Blairstown Township, New Jersey. Born in Lebanon, on June 29, 1981, he was the son of Dennis and Loretta (Batz) Ziegler of Myerstown. A 2000 graduate of ELCO High School, he was employed at H.M. Stauffer & Sons, Leola, where he built roof and floor trusses and recently was employed as a truck driver. He raced microsprints (car numbers 92 and 10z) at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, LANCO. He was a member of the Goodwill Fire Company and the Myerstown VFW Post 6076, was a former member of Boy Scout Troop 78, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and loved watching movies. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Taryn wife of Brett Weidman of Schaefferstown; brothers, Scott husband of Elizabeth Harrison of Milwaukee, Wis.; Troy Ziegler of Schaefferstown; Steven husband of Carol Ziegler of Palmyra; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Shirley Batz; paternal grandfather, Mark Ziegler; nieces, Grace and Katherine Harrison, and Mabel Anne Ziegler; nephew, Samuel James Ziegler; uncle, Gary Batz fiance of Joanne Sieja; aunt, Carole Zeigler; step-aunt, Lois wife of Fred Bohn; cousins, Brock Zeigler, Chad Zeigler, Cory husband of Valerie Batz, and Heather wife of Robert Adams. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Pauline Ziegler; step-grandmother, Marion Ziegler; and an uncle, Robert Zeigler. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 12 p.m. from Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8419 Lancaster Ave., Bethel. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the .
