Sophie Miller AVENTURA, FL Sophie Miller passed away Friday, December 4, 2009. Sophie was born (November 1, 1913) and raised in Philadelphia. She married the late Harry Miller, and was the mother of three daughters, Irma (Norman) Braman, Blossom (Edward) Leibowitz, and Linda (Terry) Fenner. Sophie raised her family in Lebanon, where she was a member of Congregation Beth Israel. Sophie was the foundation of our family. She was an incredible source of wisdom, strength, and support for her friends and family. Sophie will be greatly missed by her sister, Belle Krakow; her grandchildren, Debra and Jeffrey Wechsler, Susan and Scott Lustgarten, Susan Kuhn, and David and Stacey Leibowitz; and her great-grandchildren, Alex, Brian, Dana, Oliver, Sarah, Martin, Justin, Jackson, Sophie, Maxim, and Louis. Sophie was a lifetime member of Hadassah and a Lion of Judah of The Greater Miami Jewish Federation. The family would like to thank Sophie's friends and caregivers for their love and support. Funeral services were held in a private graveside ceremony. In remembrance, please make donations to Congregation Beth Israel, 411 S. 8th St., Lebanon, PA 17042.

I am so sorry to hear about Sophie passing away. My grandparents Ida and Joseph Krevolin lived in her tower at Del Prado. I spent many summers and winter vacations at Del Prado and always saw Sophie. My memories are that she was very nice and was always dressed so nicely. My thoughts are with your family.
