Mabel C. Willet LANCASTER Mabel C. Willet, 96, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014, at the Calvary Fellowship Homes, Lancaster. She was the wife of Harvey J. Willet, who died in 1985. Born in Palmyra, on July 19, 1917, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Gerberich Winters. She was a 1935 graduate of Palmyra High School and worked in the Boys and Menswear department for the Sears and Roebuck in Lebanon. Mabel was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lebanon and the Sears Lunch Bunch. Her grandchildren and great-grandson were the love of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. Mabel liked playing games with her friends and spent a lot of time traveling to many different places. Mabel loved the Lord and being at the Calvary Fellowship Homes where she had made many wonderful friendships. Surviving are two sons Kenneth H. Willet and wife, Cecile of New Bloomfield, and Robert L. Willet and wife, Sharon of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Eric Willet, Rachel Troutman, and Christopher Willet; and a great-grandson, Trey Troutman. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Winters, and a sister, Dorothy Davall. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville 17003. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Calvary Fellowship Homes Benevolent Fund, 502 Elizabeth Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601 in Mabel's memory.
