Juanita W. Messenger LEBANON Juanita W. Messenger, 90, formerly of Union Deposit, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014, in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. She was born May 19, 1923, in Fairmont, W.Va., daughter of the late Harry and Lola (Baker) Wright. Juanita was a retired Milton Hershey School houseparent, a member of the Union Deposit United Methodist Church, and enjoyed assisting her late husband, "The Vagabond Whittler", with his woodcarving projects. Surviving are her sons, Jack G. (Linda) Messenger, II of Lebanon and Jeffrey (Gayle) Messenger of Hershey; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jack G. Messenger; daughter, Elizabeth G. Messenger; and brother, James Wright. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The procession will form at the rear of the administration building at the cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Union Deposit United Methodist Church, 34 W. Main St., Hershey, PA 17033.
