Eugenie "Jean" Ruhl LEBANON Eugenie "Jean" Ruhl, 75, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at her residence. She was the wife of George E. Ruhl, to whom she would have been married 48 years on September 10, 2014. Born in Ukraine, on February 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Erna (Hagel) Stabs. She was a seamstress and tailor for many years, an active member of St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon, an avid reader, and loved playing cards with friends. In addition to her husband, Jean is survived by sons, Craig, husband of Aimee Ruhl of Irving, Texas, and Michael, husband of Robyn Ruhl of Audubon, N.J.; grandchildren, Jonah Ruhl, Noah Ruhl, and Layla Biskup; sisters, Margaret, wife of Herman Tartler of Harrisburg, Lilly, wife of Walt Birett of Warminster, Olga, wife of Ken Stoner of Lebanon, and Hilde, wife of Terry Kline of Lexington, Ky.; brothers, Harry, husband of Elizabeth Stabs of Lebanon, Wally, husband of Antoinette Stabs of Cornwall, and Oskar Stabs of Manheim; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 4, 2014, at 12 p.m. from St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon, preceded by a viewing beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
