John K. Lingle LEBANON John K. Lingle, 63, passed away on Monday April 14, 2014, at his residence. He is survived by his fiancee, Brenda Hartman Stoner. Born in Lebanon, on February 25, 1951, he was the son of Joan Bender Lingle of Lebanon and the late Wilmer S. Lingle. John was a member of the Cedar Crest graduating class of 1969. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. For the past 23 years John was employed at the Bayer Corporation in Myerstown. He previously worked as an Ironworker with the Local 404 out of Harrisburg. John was a member of the Friendship Fire Company and volunteered at the Annville Senior Center. He was a car enthusiast, enjoyed playing golf, and traveling. John was rarely shy and was quick to make friends. He loved to laugh and his sense of humor was contagious. Surviving, in addition to his fiancee and mother, are brothers, Bill Lingle and wife, Sue of Lebanon, and Jim Lingle and wife, Shelly of Cleona; and a sister, Connie, wife of Butch Bucher of Lebanon. A sister, Linda L. Swisher, preceded him in death. He was a loving uncle to 13 nephews, three nieces, three great-nephews, and six great-nieces. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 1 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville 17003. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors immediately following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in John's honor to The Four Diamonds Fund or The Children's Miracle Network.
