Velma S. Bow PALMYRA Velma Stouffer Bow, 97, of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, died peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2014, in the Home. She was the wife of George Loch Bow, who died in 1996. She was born in Lawn, Londonderry Twp., on September 7, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Christian R. and Mabel R. Stouffer Gingrich. She was predeceased by sister, June Yake of Titusville, N.J., and Christian Abe Gingrich of Spokane, Wash. She was a retired Elementary School Teacher. Velma graduated from Annville High School and Shippensburg State Teachers College, where she met her husband, George. Surviving are two sons, Benjamin Chris and wife, Mary of Annville, and William Loch and wife, Terry of Holidaysburg; two daughters, Ann, wife of Gary Kreider of Massillon, Ohio, and Dale, wife of Ralph R. Cordisco of Woodbine, Md.; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren and another due in June. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Annville United Methodist Church, E. Main and College Aves., Annville, with the Rev. Kenneth Klingborg officiating. Inurnment will be in Salem U.C.C. Church Cemetery, Campbelltown. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
