Obituary Condolences

Mildred Hardenstine HEMPFIELD TWP. Mildred Louise Hardenstine, 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in the Harbour Senior Living of Monroeville. Mildred was born on November 16, 1926, in Lebanon, the daughter of the late John M. and Mary Theresa (Glotzbach) Ritter. Mildred was a retired supervisor with Bayer-Sterling Drug Co., a member of the Denmark United Church of Christ, Export, and a member of the Eastern Star Lodge, Lebanon Chapter #115. Also, Mildred was an avid golfer, shooting two holes in one, an avid Pinochle Player and loved to make soup and pies. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Hardenstine; her siblings, Pauline Fetter, John Ritter, Elizabeth Miller, Mary Guido, Grace Batchelder, George and Robert Ritter; her brothers and sisters-in-law, William, Kenneth and Howard Hardenstine, Amy Tatum, Beatrice Blouch and Evelyn Gassert. Mildred is the dearly beloved mother of Robert Hardenstine (Sharon L.) of Boerne Texas, Bonnie Malovitz (Wayne) of Penn Twp.; her grandchildren, Robert Hardenstine, Jr. (Lindsey), John P. Hardenstine and Ami Zachetti (Jeffrey); her great-granddaughter, Mia; and her sister, Helen Durlam of Oregon; her brother and sisters-in-law Ronald Hardenstine, Jennie Wise, Mary Spanger, Mildred Gahres and Laura Hardenstine; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the Midway Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Evergreen Road, Lebanon at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. The John M.
