Eloise L. Greenawalt PALMYRA Eloise L. (Keefer) Greenawalt, 90, was called home to God on July 30, 2014 at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Charles K. Greenawalt, whom she married on December 25, 1947. She was born on January 27, 1924, in Lebanon, and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1942. Eloise proudly served as a telephone operator for Ft. Indiantown Gap during World War II. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jeffrey C. Greenawalt and wife Ivy of Mechanicsburg; daughter, Bonnie-Jean Burke of Middletown; three grandchildren, Rhiannon Burke, Shannon Burke, and Cory Becker; five great grandchildren; a sister, Jean Craig of Chambersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Campbelltown United Methodist Church, 2760 Horseshoe Pike, Palmyra, PA 17078, Friday, August 8, 2014, at 7 pm. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital, P.O.
