LEBANON Edward J. Leitz, 60, of 16 Behney Road, died Friday September 2, 2011, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Linda S. Cook Leitz with whom he celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary in August, 2011. Born in Lebanon, on July 15, 1951, he was the son of the late Margaret Leitz. Ed was employed in the Plating Department at Tyco Connectivity, Lickdale, and was a former employee of North American Refractories (NARCO), Womelsdorf. He was a 1969 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Ft. Indiantown Gap, a former coach in the Annville-Cleona Girls Softball Association, and an avid New York Islanders hockey fan. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Amanda E., wife of Matthew Ruzicka of Elkridge, Md., and Rebecca S. Leitz at home; and two grandchildren, Blaine Edward Leitz and Alexander Joseph Ruzicka. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Boundary Road and Rt. 443, Ft. Indiantown Gap, with the Rev. Millard G. Fisher, III officiating. Interment will be in Lemberger's Cemetery, East Hanover Twp. Viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
