Mildred L. Dyer MYERSTOWN Mildred L. Dyer, 88, died Friday, October 5, 2012, at StoneRidge Poplar Run, Myerstown. She was the wife of Harold A. Dyer, who died May 24, 1997. They moved to Myerstown from Pottsville in 1995. Born in Pottsville, on November 3, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Arthur B. and Mamie V. (Stein) Miller. A 1941 graduate of Pottsville Area H.S, she was a member of the National Honor Society and Valedictorian of her class. She was a 19 year member of the Allied Artists of Schuylkill County. Prior to her marriage, she was employed by Sears and D.G. Yuengling & Son, Pottsville, for 10 years, retiring in 1953. She also worked with her husband for 25 years in their accounting and tax business known as Dyer Enterprises. She and her husband were active members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. She has been a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Lebanon, since 1999. She is survived by a son, Arthur H., husband of Peggy J. Dyer of Tucson, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W.
