Elsie E. Yiengst LEBANON Elsie E. Yiengst, 98, died on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Cedar Haven. She was born on Monday, July 13, 1914, to the late Carson Gassert and Salennis Gassert nee Demmy in Lebanon. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ-Hamlin. Surviving are daughter, Eileen, spouse of Vincent Althouse of Lebanon; grandchildren, Jeffrey Althouse, Kim Clements, and Penny Whary; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Ira W. Yiengst; son, Carl Yiengst; a grandchild, Ricky Yiengst; two brothers; and three sisters. Viewing will be on Monday, October 15, 2012, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ-Hamlin. Funeral services will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at the church.
