Pearl A. Miller ANNVILLE Pearl A. Miller, 87, of 44 S. White Oak St., Annville died Saturday January 19, 2013 in the Palmyra Nursing Home. She was the wife of Charles W. Miller to whom she was married 65 years. Born in Weavertown on November 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Lizzie Donmoyer Blouch. She was employed in sales for Sarah Coventry Fashion Jewelry. Pearl attended Fredericksburg High School and was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Annville where she sang in the choir for 25 years. She was also a member of the Annville American Legion and Union Hose Fire Company Auxiliaries and Lebanon Chapter #115 Order of the Eastern Star. She was the co-founder and past president of the Annville VFW Post Auxiliary and for over 60 years served the Salvation Army in Lebanon as Chairlady of the Annville area. Her hobbies included bowling, golf, playing cards, baking, cooking, and attending car and horse races. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia 76ers fan. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Charles W., II husband of Diane Miller of Fredericksburg, Edwin C. Miller of Annville; a granddaughter, Jenny M. Miller; and a daughter-in-law, Louise E. Bixler of Annville. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery L. Miller; a grandson, Derek B. Miller; two brothers, Raymond and Kenneth Blouch; and four sisters, Ethel Kleinfelter, Pauline Howard, Dorothy Groy, and Bernice Blouch. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Christ Church United Church of Christ, 200 S. White Oak St., Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be in Mt. Annville Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Church and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the Church. Contributions may be made to her Church or the Salvation Army, 1031 Guilford St., Lebanon, PA 17046 in her memory.
