Pauline G. Stoessel LEBANON Pauline G. Stoessel, 92, passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness on Friday, April 19, 2013, with her daughter and family as well as her faithful canine companion "Lucky" at her side. She was the wife of the late George W. Palm and the late Clifford E. Stoessel. She was born in Lebanon on January 3, 1921, a daughter of the late John and Florence Streicher Geistweit. She was a 1939 graduate of Lebanon High School and also graduate from the Lebanon Business College. She had been employed as a secretary at the former Bethlehem Steel for 15 years; as a secretary for the Hellertown Borough Hall for 16 years and was also the retired secretary to the Mayor of City Council of Hellertown. Upon her retirement she served as a leasing consultant for the Plaza Apartments for 20 years. She was also a volunteer for the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital for over 10 years. Pauline served as a past Worthy Matron of Calypso Order of the Eastern Star in Bethlehem. She made many afghans and crocheted; and was an extensive reader. She was also a former church secretary. Pauline was a great cook who loved to make homemade meals and bake for holiday celebrations with her family. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly A. Palm, Lebanon; many nieces and nephews as well as step-children grandchildren and "adopted" grandchildren. Her funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Trinity U.M. Church, 757 Willow St., Lebanon, PA 17046 where a viewing will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will be made in the Covenant Greenwood Cemetery. The Rohland Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
