June M. Ebling CORNWALL June M. Ebling, 87, formerly of Myerstown, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Cornwall Manor. She was the wife of Elmer W. Ebling who died May 6, 1986. Born in Womelsdorf, on June 23, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alvin N. and Mary (Wagner) Strause. She was a member of Grace UCC, Richland. She was a life member of the Lebanon County Historical Society; life member and active member of the Isaac Meier Homestead, Myerstown; held many offices in the Historic Preservation Trust of Lebanon County; charter member of the Tulpehocken Settlement Historic Society; former vice president of the Cornwall Furnace Associates; and former member of the Myerstown Woman's Club. She had also been a part owner of the former Ebling's Meat Market, Myerstown. She is survived by a daughter, Dayleena Doan of Myerstown; a grandson, Daryl husband of Summer Doan of California; a sister, Mary Schellhammer of Myerstown; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, James Ebling in 2009, a granddaughter, Melissa Doan in 1984, and several sisters and brothers. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Isaac Meier Homestead, Inc., Box 521, Myerstown, PA 17067.
