Donald L. Foreman ELIZABETHTOWN Donald L. Foreman, 79, entered into his eternal rest on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. He was the loving husband of Roberta "Bert" Snyder Foreman and they celebrated 26 years of marriage May 29, 2013. Born in Lititz, Donald was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth Foreman Heffelfinger. A graduate of the former Richland High School, Don was employed by the Middletown Police Department from 1966-1991, retiring as Detective Sergeant. He was Middletown's first Detective Sergeant. Don proudly served in the U.S. Army as an MP in Albuquerque, N.M. He enjoyed gardening, beach trips, was an avid fisherman, and will be fondly remembered as a patriotic man who was passionate about law enforcement. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three children, Deanne L. (Eddie) Parsons of Shippensburg, Darren C. (Bernadette) Foreman of Hummelstown, and Stacie D. Foreman of Cleona; two stepdaughters, Tammy J. Martin and Stephanie A. Gates, both of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Brenda (Gerald) Bickel of Richland. His beloved son, Derek Lance Foreman, preceded Don in death. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Don's Life Celebration Funeral Service 11 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, from the Coble-Reber Funeral Home, LTD, 208 N. Union St., Middletown 17057. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home Monday.
