Norma R. Royer

Norma R. Royer FREDERICKSBURG Norma R. Royer, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard R. Royer. On August 29th, they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Born in Jonestown on November 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Ammon and Edna Wengert Wenger. She retired from Bell & Evans in Fredericksburg. Norma was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Hamlin, and the Fredericksburg American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed word puzzles, bowling, fishing and especially camping. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Jerry L. Royer of Myerstown, and Larry R. husband of Lena Royer of Fredericksburg; grandchildren, Kristi Donmoyer and Jason Royer; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Earl and Lloyd Wenger. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Hamlin. Viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & 5 Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown, and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be in the Hamlin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church at 129 Chestnut Hill Road, Fredericksburg, PA 17026.
