Milton W. Flickinger, Jr. PALMYRA Milton W. Flickinger, Jr., 82, Palmyra died Wednesday, November 6, 2013, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Geralene M. Maulfair Flickinger, with whom he celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary this past June. Born in Hershey on December 15, 1930, he was the son of the late Milton W., Sr. and Alice B. Asper Flickinger. He was retired from the shipping department at Hershey Foods Corp. Milt was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He graduated from Annville High School in 1948, and was a member of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Annville, Annville American Legion Post 559 for 60 years, Blue Mt. Snowmobile Club, and the Washburn, Maine Trail Runners Snowmobile Club. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed sprint car and NASCAR racing and country music. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Milton W. Flickinger, III of Palmyra, Steven L. husband of Lori Flickinger of Hummelstown; a daughter, Connie L. (Flickinger) Suraci wife of Joseph F. Suraci of Palmyra; eight grandchildren, Shawn, Monica, Mandy, Jenna, Drew, Zachary, Grace, Brittany; three great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Karson, and Primrose; and a brother, Carl Flickinger. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Longenecker. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. from Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, 710 S. White Oak St., Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be in Mt. Annville Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the CHURCH and also on Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. Contributions may be made to Zion E.C. Church in his memory. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
