Charles C. Seyfert JONESTOWN Charles Cyril Seyfert, 93, died on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Wednesday, June 9, 1920, to the late Charles A. Seyfert and Estella Margaret Seyfert nee Arnold in Lebanon. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. He worked as an equipment operator and was a veteran of the Army in World War II. He was a life member and past post commander of the Annville American Legion #559, member of VFW Post #8023, AMVET Post #293, with whom he served on the honor squad, and a life member of the Knights of Columbus. Charles also enjoyed gardening. Surviving are sons, John Seyfert, William Seyfert, Frederick Seyfert, Charles Seyfert, Edwin Seyfert, Ernest Seyfert, Patrick Seyfert, and Joseph Seyfert; daughters, Kathrine Granata and Christine McConnell; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Seyfert; and sisters, Isabelle Hartman, Dorothy Hershock, and Marie Wilman. He was preceded in death by wife, Christine C. Seyfert nee Eisenhauer; and sons, Jeff Seyfert and Stephen Seyfert. Visitation will be on Monday, March 31, 2014, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, with full military honors, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 125 S.
