PERKINS, John (Jack) Leslie.
(April 17, 1929 – March 1,2013)
Jack passed away peacefully at his home in Regina, SK. at the age of 83. He leaves behind his three children; son Todd of Calgary; son Brent (Jennifer Moody) and grandchild, Declan, all of Toronto; and his daughter Shelley and grandchildren Kayla and Kyle all of Calgary. He is also survived by sisters, Vivien of Regina and Marion of Melfort, SK as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Les in 1978 and his Mother Tess in 1970. Until recently, Jack owned and operated J. L. Perkins Bookbinder in the city for more than 50 years.
At Jack's request there will be no Funeral or Service; however, there will be a Memorial social on Saturday March 9, from 1-4 pm at the Delta Hotel in Regina to honour his wishes. All of his friends and family are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
