Olga McIntyre
1933 -2012
In loving memory of Olga McIntyre, Regina Saskatchewan, born January 18, 1933, passed away peacefully at home on November 12, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Olga was predeceased by her parents, Adam and Anastasia Dowbysh of Prince Albert Saskatchewan; her brother Wally Dowbysh, and her husband Alexander McIntyre. Olga is survived by her son John, daughter Anna, and her "grand-kids" Casper (John) and Cooper (Anna). Olga was a tireless Samaritan working and giving her time and any assistance she could to such organizations as the Humane Society, the Canadian Diabetic Association, Canadian Blood Services (formerly the Red Cross), the United Way, Boy Scouts of Canada as a Cub Scout Leader, several roles at Northside and Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church and First Church, and many others equally worthy, but too numerous to mention. She was a rural school teacher, a bookkeeper, a multi- versed fundraiser, and an avid and skilled gardener, cook, baker, and crafter. She loved dogs, was a well-versed and keen observing Saskatchewan Roughrider and CFL fan, and she was dedicated and extremely successful at making people feel happy, welcome and appreciated. She will be, and is already, greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church, 5303 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK with Pastor Ronda Bosch Officiating.
