Louis Arnold Kinneberg
Louis passed away on May 8, 2014 in Regina at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by his wife, Martha (nee Getz); father, Oscar; mother, Elizabeth (nee Booth); brother, Floyd and Annie (nee James) Kinneberg; father-in- law, John Getz; brother-in-law, Ronald Bale; great-nephew, Robbie Lang and many other cherished grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends. Louis is survived by his sons, Kevin Kinneberg (Pam Stone), David Kinneberg, Brent Kinneberg, Timothy Kinneberg (Lorie); daughter, Cheryl Church (Bruce); grandsons, David (Tamara) Church, Calvin Church, granddaughters, Amber Ross, Crystal Sears (Terry), Jordyn Kinneberg, great-grandchildren, Janessa, Jamus, Seth and Charly. Louis was born March 14, 1927 in Regina the Grey Nun's Hospital and Louis lived in Thunder Creek until Granddad bought the homestead in Central Butte where Louis grew up with his sisters, May, Lila and brother, Floyd. He attended Luther College in Outlook and after graduating in 1947, Louis went on to Normal School in Moose Jaw earning his teaching degree. He contracted polio in his mid-twenties which lead him to meeting his wife, Martha. They married November 22, 1958 and were together until her death on May 10, 2000. They raised four boys and one daughter together. Louis worked at various teaching positions and other jobs throughout his lifetime and retired in 1988. A Celebration of Louis' Life will be held Friday, May 16, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Austrian Club, 320 Maxwell Cres., Regina, SK.
