William PIRLOT Obituary
1951 - 2015
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that Bill's family announce his passing. Bill was born on December 15, 1951 to Thelma and William Pirlot. He was predeceased by his father William Pirlot. Bill is survived by his mother, Thelma Pirlot of Regina, SK; wife Joy Ann; sons Cory (Christine) and Jason (Kailey) of Regina, SK; daughter Rosalyn (Travis) McMillen of Warman, SK; grandchildren Kayleigh, Christopher, Kyle, Kieran, Declan and Carys; sisters Loreen Pirlot and Marci (Dale) Brisbourne. Bill resided in Regina, SK his entire life. He was an avid sports enthusiast, and was active in both playing and coaching many sports for much of his life. Bill enjoyed fishing, curling, golfing and following his favourite teams later in life. He enjoyed a long career with the Province's Department of Finance, and built many lasting friendships throughout his career. Bill had a passion for music, traveling, cooking and working on projects around the home. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Arthritis Society, 110, 2550 – 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1 or www.arthritis.ca. Dear Grandma, Aunt Marci, Mom, Ros, and Jason,
My sincerest condolences to you during this time. Uncle Bill is now in a place of peace, and his love for you will be with you wherever you go.
To Uncle Bill, I will never forget you teaching me that there is less grease in a bacon and pineapple pizza than in a ham and pineapple pizza : )
I will also never forget the life lessons you taught me when I was a young boy.
Your gift to my son, the stuffed dog we named "Sask" in honor of our roots in Saskatchewan goes to school with him, and sleeps with him every day. You will be in our thoughts all the time, and may you rest in peace Uncle.
