Dear Marilyn and Family,
Please accept my sincerest condolences.
Greg was one of the nicest men I have ever known and he always had a smile and hug for me. He was a wonderful father to his boys and a wonderful husband to Marilyn. My thoughts are with you.

What a shock to hear of the passing of such a fine man. Greg was truly a gentleman. We were in the same grade in school, and played hockey together back in the early 1960's. He told me how much he enjoyed his time in my state when he played for the Dallas Black Hawks. My sincere condolences to his family.

My deepest condolences Marilyn, Scott, Chris and Chad. Greg was a very likeable and easy going guy. An exceptional, respectful and loving husband and father. He was a great role model not only for his family but for all those he came into contact with both on and off the ice. I know I saw him as a role model and will always remember him as such. Cherish the memories. Wish I could have been there for the memorial.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Greg and wish to pass on my sincere condolences to the family. I remember him as a true gentleman with a big heart. Once, when playing against the University of North Dakota, someone in the stands said to me during pre-game warm up that he looked "mean." I laughed and replied that you couldn't meet a nicer guy and a more gentle soul. I am sorry I did not re-connect with him later in life. - Bob Remington, UMD Hockey 1969-1973.

Deepest Sympathies to Greg's Families,
As a member of Greg's hockey family, hospital visits with Greg lifted my spirits - perhaps more than I did his. He was that sort of a great guy. His memory will be cherished.

Marilyn, our thoughts are with you during this very sad and difficult time.
We will forever be thankful for the privilege to have met Greg, even if only for a short while. His fighting spirit, determination, positive outlook, and outstanding personality , provided my father (Ron Waffle), with the courage to begin his own fighting battle, as he began his journey with cancer.
I will always be grateful, and feels it such a blessing to have met both you and Greg. The warmth and kindness that you both gave so freely, was greatly appreciated, and will always be remembered.
May the many loving memories that you will fold in your heart for always, provide you with strength and comfort. And may the support of close family and friends carry you and sustain you.
Greg was a very special man. Now, Heaven holds his soul, and he is at peace.
God bless,
Sincerely,
Kory Boehmer,
Regina, sask.
