William Beattie

BEATTIE On Tuesday, November 10, 2009 William Robert Beattie, Broadview, SK died at the age of 82 years. The funeral service will be held in the Broadview and District Community Center on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Doug Miner officiating. Interment of cremated remains at a later date. William was born on February 28, 1927 at Fillmore, SK. Predeceased by his first wife Ruth Beattie (Norbeck) (July 2, 1978), and his second wife Connie Beattie (Sherratt) (October 17, 2008) and brotherin-law Ray Brown (October 25, 2008). Survived by his children: Sheree Sentes (Ralph), Cindy McDonald (Brian), Ian Beattie (Brenda) and Mark Beattie; step-daughters Deborah Bordelay and Shawna Morin (Rob); grandchildren: Amelia Sentes (Kyle), Matthew McDonald, Ryan and Kyle Beattie, Tiffany and Justin Burge, Dustin and Shyla Cunningham; step grandchildren: Jared and Kaia Bordelay, Erin and Jayde Morin and great grandchildren Rhyah Beattie and Tyra Cunningham; two brothers Alex (Dagmar) and John (Louise) Beattie; two sisters Jean (Lloyd) Kemp and Alice Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina SK, S4P 2R3, as tokens of remembrance.
