HADWEN, Bill
Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in Regina at the age of 68 years after a lengthy illness. Bill was born on November 6, 1944. He resided in Moose Jaw until 1968 when he moved to Regina. For 31 years, Bill worked for the Corrections Department of the Provincial Government. Bill was predeceased by his mother Martha and father Steve. Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife Marilyn; sons Michael (Karen) and Trevor (Glenda); precious grandchildren Jayden, Noah, Keely and Alia; brother Larry (Rosa); sister Marie (Richard) Hahn; mother-in- law Tillie Carlberg; brother-in-law Norman (Jan) Carlberg; sister-in-law Gayle (Dave) Ansley; as well as numerous nephews and nieces and a wide circle of friends. During 44 years of marriage, Bill and Marilyn enjoyed camping with family and traveling with friends to warm destinations. Rosemont United Church was also a special place for Bill where he could often be found washing dishes after a supper, painting, cooking for Souls Harbour Mission, raking leaves or, of course, at the services. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Regina Chapter, 1545C McAra Street, Regina, SK S4N 6H4 or Regina Humane Society, PO Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7 as Bill always had a tender heart for dogs.
