RYDER, Floyd Walter April 23, 1952-May 9, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Floyd Ryder. He passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Floyd was predeceased by his mother Rosebelle Ryder; parents Ruben and Lucy Ryder; partner Anita Starr; brothers Dennis, Douglas, Irvin, and Roger; sister Linda and special nephew Jason. Survived by his partner Darlene Bellegarde; brothers Barry, Clyde (Bernice), Daniel, Nathan, Tim (Kathy); sisters Sandra and Denise; special granddaughter Larissa (Nathan); nieces Brandy, Talaya, Joanne, Deborah, Marnie; nephews Cody (Aria), Colton (Chantelle), Chief Brady (Jenna), Michael, Kecia (Dalton), and many more nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends. Floyd was proud of his Bachelor Arts in Indian Studies and his research of the Nakoda First Nation history. A wake will take place on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 5:00 p.m., at the Indigenous Christian Fellowship, 3131 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK.
