It is with sadness that the family of Gordon Kilback announces his passing on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the age of 74 years. Gordon was born in Vanguard, SK to George and Christina Kilback, one of 13 children, and was raised on the family farm near Gravelbourg, SK. Gordon is survived by his children Tina Kilback of Edmonton; Simone Kilback of Edmonton; and Sean (Shea) Kilback of Regina; grandchildren Haylie, Lyndon and Ava Dawn; sisters Kathy Eberman of Vernon, BC and Diane (Art) Klippenstein of Wolseley, SK; as well as many nieces and nephews. Gordon farmed, worked for SaskPower, and was a restauranteur, eventually finding his calling in real estate. He worked for over 30 years in the profession as an agent and broker before retiring in the year 2000. In his retirement, Gordon took joy in constructing numerous elaborate projects in his back yard including patios, gardens, fountains and ponds to name a few. He was especially happy when friends or family dropped in and he was able to provide one of his over the top dinners that generally took most of the day to prepare. Gordon was outgoing and generous. He always had a quick wit along with a warm smile and kind words for anybody that he was in contact with. He loved seeing and spending time with his grandchildren, having one last visit with them this past weekend. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to sign the online obituary and tributes page at www.regina-memorial.ca.
