MICHALYCIA, Jason Leslie
Jason passed away suddenly on Friday, February 22, 2013, in Edmonton at the age of 33 years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Hala, parents Les and Jean Michalycia, brother Curtis (Karastin), niece Madeline Michalycia, godparents Don and Marlene Leir, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, extended family and friends. He was born on May 20, 1979, received the gift of holy baptism on August 12, 1979. He grew up in Indian Head and Regina. He married Hala Iskharya on November 16, 2006, and lived in Regina until a recent decision to move for work as a plumber to Edmonton, AB. He was always joking and had a wonderful sense of humour. He loved animals, fishing, camping, and being with people. A MEMORIAL SERVICE TO REMEMBER AND HONOUR Jason will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 1037 Victoria Ave, Regina. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the University of Alberta Hospital, Firefighters Burn Treatment Unit – 3C2, 8449 - 112 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 2B7, or Grace Lutheran Church, 1037 Victoria Ave, Regina, SK S4P 0N6.
