John Erskine Gohm
September 14, 1948 - November 21, 2012
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Erskine Gohm on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 after his long courageous battle with cancer. John was predeceased by his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon Gohm; parents Fred and Pamela Gohm; one brother Alfred Gohm and granddaughter Amanda Gohm. John has left behind four wonderful daughters and eight grandchildren: Karrie Gohm (Raenna and Mitchell Gohm), Christine Gohm (Larissa and Nikkita Friess), Monica Gohm (Ethan Webster and Emily Lygouriatis) and Melissa (Joe) Malbeuf (Brady and Mathew Malbeuf) all of Indian Head, SK. John has one remaining brother David (Pat) Gohm of Saskatoon; one sister Marion Gohm of Lethbridge AB; sister-in-law Bev (Alfred) Gohm of Medicine Hat AB as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was born in Greenwich, England on September 14, 1948. He later came to Canada with his parents in 1962. John worked on the Canadian Pacific Railroad for 27 years taking early retirement in 2006 to care for his beloved wife. The funeral service will take place on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Hall, Indian Head SK with Rev. W.E. Bill Glasspell officiating. Interment in Indian Head Cemetery. Private family visitation to take place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Indian Head Community Bible Church, Box 1096, Indian Head, SK. S0G 2K0. Online Condolences can be made at
