TODD, Kathryn LaVonne
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Kathy on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from complications of a stroke she suffered on January 26, 2011. Born in Saskatoon, SK on February 23, 1963, Kathy leaves to mourn her husband Graham; daughter Kassandra Grant; granddaughter Kaja- Louise Grant; parents Donald and Thelma Grant; brothers Jeffrey (Marnie) Grant and Kevin (Audrey) Grant; nieces Alexandra, Kayley and Julia; nephew Andrew; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Being an eternal optimist, Kathy persevered through the challenges of "locked-in" syndrome for 22 months following her stroke. She lived her life with love and joy, revelling in her husband, daughter and granddaughter and times spent with her parents, siblings and their children. Kathy enjoyed her work and her co-workers in Laundry Services at the Regina Pioneer Village where she worked for 22 years. Special thanks to Kathy's caregivers at the General Hospital, doctors, nursing staff and housekeeping staff, first in Neurology, then on 6 - F RCU, and most recently at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre.
